Minimum Wage in Nicaragua 2024

The National Minimum Wage Commission, composed of representatives from the Government of Nicaragua, Labor Unions, and Private Enterprises, agreed on February 29, 2024, to increase the minimum wage in Nicaragua by 10.01%. This increase will be effective from March 1, 2024, until February 28, 2025.

The increase will apply to 9 economic sectors, excluding the Free Trade Zone, as companies under that special regime are governed by an agreement signed in October 2022.
