La Gaceta No. 58 on Wednesday, March 24, 2021 has been created the National Health Regulation Authority (acronym in Spanish: ANRS) which is a public entity with legal personality, its own assets, technical and administrative autonomy, attached to the Ministry of Health (MINSA) and as a legal successor without continuity solution of the General Directorate of Health Regulation.
The ANRS will aim to facilitate, regulate, implement, develop and coordinate policies, laws, regulations and standards related to health authorities, surveillance, promotion, advertising, control and supervision of different medicines, vaccines, natural medicinal products, food and beverages, nutritional supplements, medical devices, precursor chemical substances, cosmetic and hygienic products, tobacco and its derivatives, among others.
The National Assembly is currently in the process of approving the Regulations law which will regulate the government fees for the application of the law.
The new Law does not establish relevant changes in the procedures for approval of Sanitary Registries, not requirements, due fees and other item because it will in the Regulations of the law.
